Beware of your gaze

Our hearts have a way of following our gaze.  We cannot live without a glimpse of the ugly, the discouraging and the tempting, but we can refuse to turn a glimpse into a gaze.  “Let us fix our eyes upon Jesus” is the best advice for our journey.  We cannot help but notice the enemy’s billboards, they are everywhere peddling his smut, but we cannot fix our eyes on Jesus and gaze at the enemy’s trash at the same time.
